Welcome to Jennings Trace

Wedding Venue Houston

Along with the incomparable beauty of our Texas countryside:

the gently rolling hills, creeks and lakes, native wildflowers, and beautiful hardwood trees and pine forests…

the Montgomery area possesses a rich, historical heritage that we, at Jennings Trace, take the utmost pride in.

Established in 1837, Montgomery, Texas, is recognized as an important historical region, beginning with the trails and traces specific to a well-traveled, notable thoroughfare.

Before Montgomery became a successful, historical town, the Coushatta Indians were known to have traced a path leading through the heart of Montgomery, making possible the progress of other trailblazers.

In the early days, Montgomery was known for its thriving commerce, including a railroad depot, a cotton gin, and a hotel. Celebrated historical figures made Montgomery their home, including Nathaniel Hart Davis, who began a thriving law practice which still stands in town as is a popular tourist attraction.

The city of Montgomery is the Birthplace of the modern Lone Star Flag of Texas. Dr. Charles B. Stewart lived in Montgomery and headed a committee appointed by Mirabeau B. Lamar to design an official flag for the Republic of Texas.

With such an illustrious place in Texas history, Montgomery is destined to achieve and surpass its former glory, and we are thrilled to be a vital part of the renaissance!

We are now close enough to be the wedding venue Houston has longed for!

We met with Corbin and she was extremely helpful, professional, and informed. She always answered emails promptly with the MANY questions I had…

Corbin is an extremely hard worker, detail-oriented and just as nice as can be.  ~Gay
